Who is this event for?
Anyone involved in balloons and entertainment is welcome. Balloon twisters, children's entertainers, decorators, hobbyists and anyone wanting to meet others in the industry.
Do I need to bring balloons for jamming?
No. Gemar are kindly sponsoring stock for the jamming sessions.
Can I bring my own balloons?
Absolutely.
Do I need to be an experienced balloon artist?
Not at all. Whether you've been twisting for 20 years or are just getting started, you're welcome.
What products will be available?
We'll bring a wide range of popular items, but if there's something specific you'd like, we recommend ordering in advance and selecting collection at the event.
Will food and drinks be available?
The venue is to be confirmed, but typically food and refreshments will be available to purchase from the venue throughout the day. We will confirm this shortly.
Can I bring my partner or family?
Yes, although anyone attending the event itself will need a ticket.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
Will there be photography?
Photos and videos may be taken during the event for future marketing and social media content.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, your enthusiasm and plenty of ideas! If you'd like to jam with your own equipment or favourite balloons, feel free to bring them along.
I've never attended before. Will I fit in?
Absolutely. These events are designed to be friendly and relaxed. Whether you know lots of people or nobody at all, you'll quickly find yourself chatting balloons, sharing ideas and making new connections.
Is it worth travelling for?
Many attendees use it as an opportunity to network, learn new ideas, meet suppliers, see demonstrations and spend time with others in the industry. Plus, Bournemouth makes a great overnight stay with the beach and town centre nearby.
Is this a training course?
No. This is primarily a networking, jamming and community event, although there will be demonstrations, competitions and opportunities to pick up plenty of ideas throughout the day.

At just £1.50 each, they have great potential for profit.
Inside each pack is a mini balloon pump, a leaflet including instructions for 6 balloon models & 20 x modelling balloons.
Please note the modelling balloons provided are not Qualatex and are thinner and shorter than other modelling balloons we provide. Whilst we wouldn't recommend them for professional use, they are ideal for the intended purpose of fulfilling a quick sale an initial interest to balloon modelling.

Propcorn is a fantastic trick perfect for family and children's magicians as well as close up magicians.

Ask your audience member to shuffle 5 trading cards that each display an animated movie character , so neither you, or them, know where each character is.
They choose one and leave it face down on the table, the rest of the cards are put aside.
Explain that when watching a film, you have to have popcorn. You even carry a bag of 'lucky kernels' with you wherever you go.
You take a kernel and put it into your hand, waving a lighter beneath your hand. The audience member is suprised when you open your hand to reveal the kernel has 'popped' into a piece of popcorn!
BUT WAIT THERES MORE.. The popcorn seems to have taken the shape of a famous animated movie character. They turn over their trading card to reveal that the two characters match. You then EAT the popcorn!
One of the trading cards also has an extra effect on it which reveals the number 37 (for a 37 force)
